Frequently Asked Questions
A Vehicle Service Contract was designed to provide consumers with protection from the high cost of unexpected repair bills. Vehicle Service Contracts are more commonly known as an aftermarket auto warranty. Vehicle Service Contracts (VSC’s) are designed to help consumers offset the high cost of their mechanical repair bills when their vehicle breaks down or won’t start.
Manufacturer coverage lapses over time, but you can protect your car throughout its life by buying an extended auto warranty. Many such warranties can pay for themselves in a single costly repair, and continue to cover you far beyond that. When you buy an extended auto warranty that is transferable, you also increase the resale value of your car and make it more attractive to potential buyers. If given the option, wouldn’t you choose a car that came guaranteed against repair costs? It is less expensive to purchase an extended auto warranty early in the life of your car. Extended warranties begin after the manufacturer’s warranty expires, protecting your vehicle for as long as you own it. To avoid interruption in coverage, and to get the lowest price, you should purchase an extended warranty early. The more coverage you have left on the factory warranty, the less you have to pay for extended coverage.

Insurance covers your vehicle only if there’s an accident. It won’t cover you when your car breaks down. With a TW vehicle protection plan, you’ll be covered if your engine breaks down, your transmission goes out, or your car requires any other major auto repairs.
The price of your plan depends on various factors, including your vehicle make, model, year, mileage, and the level of coverage and length of the contract. Give us a call at 800-307-9395 to speak with a TW representative who will help put together the right plan for you.
When choosing a plan, no matter its level of coverage, make sure it offers a cancellation option, a monthly payment plan, free towing and rental cars, and a money-back guarantee. TW backs each of its contracts with these services and offerings; many other warranties and service contracts don’t offer this level of customer satisfaction. Give us a call at 800-307-9395 and we can help you find the best plan that suits your needs.
